# Change the app appearance

Choose a light or dark interface, or follow your device's appearance.

## Choose an appearance

1. Click your avatar at the top right of the dashboard.
2. Choose **Account settings → Appearance**.
3. Select **System**, **Light** or **Dark**.

| Choice     | Result                                          |
| ---------- | ----------------------------------------------- |
| **System** | Follows your device's light or dark appearance. |
| **Light**  | Uses the light interface.                       |
| **Dark**   | Uses the dark interface.                        |

The interface changes immediately. This preference applies to the dashboard and editor; it does not change the colours of your drawing.
