# Delete a team

Permanently remove a team you own and understand what happens to its subscription.

You must be the **team owner**. Your personal team cannot be deleted through this action.

Deleting a team permanently removes its projects, pages and stored files, and cancels its subscription. Everyone loses access to that team's work. This cannot be undone.

## Delete the team

1. Export any drawings you need to keep.
2. Select the team on the dashboard.
3. Open the gear beside its name and choose **General**.
4. Find **Delete this team**.
5. Type the exact team name shown in the confirmation label.
6. Click **Delete team**.

If Synaps cannot cancel the team's subscription, deletion is stopped. Follow the displayed error and retry or contact support.
