# Create an interior render

Place and aim a camera, choose a style, and create an interior image from your drawing.

Place a camera in your drawing, aim it at the space, and use **Apply** to generate an interior image from that view.

## Before you start

Prepare the editable drawing and place the assets you want in the view. If you are starting with a plan image, [trace it](/ai-and-automation/trace-a-floor-plan.md) or draw the geometry first.

You need editing access and the applicable [AI credit entitlement](/workspace-and-billing/understand-ai-credits.md).

## Steps

1. Choose **Camera** from the available drawing tools.
2. Click to place the camera, then move the pointer to aim it and click again to set its direction.
3. With **Select** active, select that camera alone to show its rendering prompt.
4. Choose an interior style, or **No style**, and enter a prompt if you want to guide the appearance.
5. Click **Apply** and wait for the generated image.

## What you'll see

A new image area shows progress and then the completed interior image. The result is a separate canvas item: it does not replace the camera or your editable floor plan.

## Guide the appearance

A style can be used without an additional written instruction. Choose **No style** if you do not want to select one of the named presets.

Example prompt:

> A calm, lived-in interior with pale timber, warm neutral walls and soft daylight. Keep the arrangement and camera viewpoint consistent with the source view.

For another viewpoint, reposition or re-aim the camera before rendering again. For a local finish change, use [segmentation](/ai-and-automation/select-image-objects-with-segmentation.md) on the generated image.

## Controls and limits

* Compare the image with the camera view: check openings, furniture, materials and proportions.
* Later drawing changes do not make an existing generated image a live, automatically updated view.
* Camera rendering and a subsequent image edit are separate AI operations.

## Troubleshooting

**The prompt is missing.** Check that one camera is selected and **Select** is active, rather than another drawing tool.

**The view is not useful.** Check the camera's position and aim in the drawing before spending credits on another render.

**The result needs a different floor or wall finish.** Select the generated image and use the relevant segmentation action.
